Coach Diaper bag [1]
Coach Diaper bag [2]
Coach Diaper bags will fall in line with the rest of the Coach handbags concerning
the fundamental
Coach design properties. They should give you
a good foundation to work with when inspecting an authentic or fake
Coach diaper bag. One of the areas that should be focused on when dealing with
Coach diaper bags is the front, or the face of the bag. Often times the designs of the authentic
Coach diaper bags have labels, logos and other areas of detail on the front, and usually center of
the bag. These areas are great places to inspect for counterfeit clues.
The
Fake Coach diaper bag (above) displays a common problem with all fake handbags: stitch
lines. In this image, (despite it being tough to see clearly), the stitch lines are doubled up
and inconsistent with the rest of the stitch flow. You can see this by comparing the area that
has the pointer, to the area off to the right. The two stitch lines have noticeable color differences.
The area that is being pointed at shows a stronger, brighter color than area on the same
stitch line further to the right. This is because the stitch line has been doubled over. This is
evidence of very sloppy work, especially being directly on the face of the handbag. If there were to
be less than ideal handy work on an authentic diaper bag, it would be in an area that would be hidden
from the eye, (interior corners etc).
The (left) image is a
fake Coach diaper bag. Here is the point by point by breakdown of the problems with this fake Coach diaper bag:
- 1.) The vertical outer lines show that the red "C" inside the lines is off center. On an
authentic Coach diaper bag, the C should be lined up and centered relative to the leather
Coach patch. Here you can see that the C pattern is shifted too far to the left.
- 2.) Here the inner vertical lines show that the logo under the Coach logo is slightly
off center as well. It is shifted very slightly to the left.
- 3.) This line shows the crooked stitch line at the bottom of the label. Here you can see as the
stitch lines starts to slip downwards as the stitch line moves right. This is also an indicator that
the label itself is slightly crooked, tilting down at the bottom right corner.
Note: All of these points by themselves are very subtle and would probably go unnoticed. But the
tell here is not the individual issues, it is the accumulation of all of these irregularities. As
these inconsistencies begin to mount, they corroborate each other, forming strong case
for this being a fake Coach diaper bag.
The
fake Coach diaper bag (left) has a few noticeable problems. First, the tag has a cheap plastic
tie fastening it to the bag. And the famous
Coach hang tag
is nowhere to be seen. Second and most obvious is the plastic covering the handles of the the
Diaper bag. This is usually a universal tell for all designer handbags.
